Abstract:
This two-part video is beautifully and creatively shot while secondarily showing the rich layers of language at just one school. The first video, Pass the Peace, shows a Native American tradition of passing a stick from person to person to talk about unity. Signs of Peace is the second short video with its simple, beautiful images and symbolism.

Behavioral Learning Objective:
Students will demonstrate understanding along with technical and creative troubleshooting and problem solving in planning, producing, and editing a short video.
How was this project assessed?
The basic film making rubric is broken down into the following categories: script, location, sound, master shot, medium shot, close up, editing, camera technique. Each category is ranked 1-4, from advanced down through proficient, needs work, and not done.
Other information:
Five teams created films about Peace, and these two decided to combine theirs.
