Behavioral Learning Objective:
The students will reflect on the Bill of Rights and identify what it means to be an American. They will construct a story board and create a multimedia presentation which effectively communicates to the intended audience the essence of being an American.
How was this project assessed?
This project was assessed using the St. Elisabeth Junior High Student Learning Expectations Rubric. Additional assessments were made of the story board, written script, and oral presentation.
Other information:
This project was one of the activities completed in the ThinWalls Classroom: which is a collaborative endeavor between an 8th grade class in Los Angeles and a class in Manitoba, Canada. This hybrid classroom was established to explore global collaboration and develop students' 21st Century learning skills.
