The 21st Century Learners Symposium featured keynote speaker Marc Prensky who also conducted a student panel on "Don't Bother Me Mom - I'm Learning." David Thornburg led a spotlight session on STEM resources.

Other Workshop Sessions covered a range of topics addressing technology and media integration in teaching, learning, and administration.

Before the General Session, Timothy Magner, director of the Office of Educational Technology at the U.S. Department of Education, was the speaker at an invitation-only Leadership Breakfast.

Instructional Technology Outreach introduced its new ITO Tech Stories podcasting initiative - by and for educators - at the Symposium.

Presenting sponsors eInstruction, Tech Ed Services, Vantage Learning, and Verizon/Thinkfinity were joined in the exhibit area by sponsors Epson and Promethean, as well as other partners. Digital Sponsors Apple, Dell, mpc|Gateway, and CTAP 10 provided three hands-on labs.
