New in 2009:
More than 40 students contributed their voice to this year's Symposium as the event featured Student Productions, with local students reporting on the event at the Closing Session.
In addition, Symposium participants received the inaugural edition of Engage, an ITO publication that profiles national research, local best practices, and emerging developments in K-12 education technology.
The Technology Leadership Briefing, a pre-Symposium opening session, focused on the unique issues faced by private and charter schools. Panelists discussed how private and charter schools can effectively integrate technology and media into their schools.
The 21st Century Learners Symposium is one of many professional development opportunities offered by ITO and its CTAP 11, Multimedia Services, and Professional Reference Services units.
