Content: The goal of this workshop is to acquaint early childhood teachers and parents with the wealth of children’s picture books and engaging preschool and primary students in read-aloud activities. Handouts will be provided to aid in selection of age-appropriate storybooks promoting cultural diversity. Craft activities to augment the use of these books will be included. Each participant will take home a selection of K-3 books for use in the classroom or in your home.
