Why is it important to provide students with Digital Citizenship skills?

These skills relate to the digital world we now live in, and the principle of using its technologies in ways that are responsible, appropriate and intelligent.

This idea of ‘digital citizenship’ has become a hot topic, in education and elsewhere. So how can we play a role in creating effective digital citizens, and what can teachers do?

These are topics that will be visiting during this training.

This workshop featuring Common Sense Education materials and other resources that will introduce you to a host of free online content that addresses Cyber-Bullying, Internet Safety, Online Privacy and Security, Information Literacy, and much more.

All schools receiving E-rate discounts must comply with the Internet safety educational requirements outlined in the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA). 

All materials introduced will be available for reuse and redelivery at a local level.
