Register for Introduction to Google Classroom (Teaching Online)

There is no workshop registration fee for LACOE employees, however, supervisor approval is required before registering for the session.


Description

Participants in this session will be introduced to techniques and strategies for instruction to teach remotely using Google Classroom. 

Learn how to:

  • Enroll students
  • Connect your parent community
  • Create a sandbox for exploration
  • Set up lesson plans, activities and units of instruction.
  • Announcements and Calendar Activities

 

***PLEASE NOTE:  A personal Google or Gmail account is required for this session. If you use a district gmail account, it will not work in this online setting. You will also need an MS Outlook account. The MS Outlook account is needed to join us in TEAMS where the online video conference and course will be held. In order to use MS Teams, you will need a LACOE or other Microsoft email account. If you do not have a LACOE or other Microsoft email account, sign up here for a Microsoft Outlook email account. https://outlook.live.com/owa/ Once you have created your new account, please email your new Microsoft Outlook email address. If you have a LACOE email account, there is no need to do this.
